Today's diesels are more powerful than ever. One of the ways they have achieved this is through turbo charging. For your engine to maintain maximum performance, the charge air cooler or intercooler must be maintained in top condition.

A leaking charge air cooler/intercooler can reduce fuel mileage significantly. With today's ever increasing fuel cost, a poorly functioning charge air cooler can end up costing thousands in wasted fuel. In addition to the reduction in fuel economy, power will also be significantly reduced.

Cleaning
A high pressure stream is applied externally to remove built up dirt, grime and salt residue. Internally, a special solution is applied to remove any foreign material or oil residue that may be present. This results in a clean core that allows maximum airflow and heat transfer.

Testing
Units are pressure tested for any leaks that may be present. Any leaks are then repaired if possible. Although OEM units allow a leak tolerance of up to 5%, we have a 0% leak tolerance to ensure maximum performance.

Recore
In the recore process, we take your intercooler and remove then end tanks. The core is disposed of and replaced with a new core that meets or exceeds OEM specifications. The core is then welded on to the tanks and you have a unit that performs as new.
